Adventure park company 'Go Ape' has recently purchased a utility vehicle from groundcare equipment specialists Kubota UK for use on its Grizedale Forest site in Cumbria.

The tree top adventure site, which boasts six different sections with a variety of exhilarating zip wires and tree top obstacles, has taken delivery of an RTV 900 to assist with general maintenance work around the park.

The RTV 900 is a utility vehicle robustly built to take on any job or terrain. It features Kubota's innovative variable HST transmission and dynamic engine braking whilst also delivering rapid acceleration and optimum traction allowing it to climb tough hills easily and perform smooth controlled descents.

Paul Brady, Operations Manger at the site explains: "We really like the stability of the vehicle and the Camo design works brilliantly in our woodland setting. Furthermore, the hydrostatic transmission provides added safety on the steep hill side as it can stop and then resume climbing without breaking - preventing the machine from running away down the hill!"

Mike Bywater at Kubota UK, comments: "We were really pleased to secure the deal for a RTV 900 with Paul at Go Ape. The RTV 900 is our best selling model and I think it's a great fit for the park. It is a hardworking, tough and highly versatile machine and it's also one of the safest on the market."
