Lancashire have put back plans to turn the Old Trafford square.
As part of their ambitious redevelopment, the club had originally scheduled to rotate the pitch 90 degrees at the end of this season, enabling them to add five more wickets to the square and avoid glare from the sun stopping play in September.
That would have meant most, if not all, of Lancashire's first-class games being played at Liverpool and other out-grounds, with Old Trafford hosting just one-day matches. See Rest of the article on the following link:- Manchester Evening News
