0 DJ getting 'edgy' at the NEC

rsz pededgefrontAt this year's Saltex exhibition DJ Turfcare will be showing the latest Bushranger Edger, the Atom Professional Lawn Edger and the Viano professional range of organic fertilisers.

Specifically designed for local authority and contracting work, the latest Bushranger Edger E35 is an extremely robust machine with an Exposure Limit Value of over 8 hours per day. The low vibration, low noise edger is powered by a 3.1hp Kawasaki FJ100 four-stroke OHV engine and the machine features key innovations such as the 'dead man's handle' micro switch cut-out for greater safety and to reduce operator hand fatigue.

The cutting depth has seven settings up to 72mm/2.85" and the cutter head tilts left and right to provide several different angles for border edging.

The Atom Professional Lawn Edger is highly popular with groundsmen looking to cut edging time and improve profitability. Simple to steer around bends or tight corners it has a lightweight but strong construction, a faster cut than comparable edgers and will cut along curbs, gutters, grass verges and lawns. The Atom makes edging easy with no bending or clipping and features a powerful 34cc Komatsu-Zenoah commercial engine, four blade hardened spring steel cutting system and seven point anti-vibration to reduce operator fatigue. The highly manoeuvrable wheelbarrow action enables edging around obstacles and, by tilting sideways, cutting up against tight walls and fences.

DJ Turfcare is the exclusive UK distributor of Viano organic fertilisers, comprising the Turf Professional and Growers Professional ranges, together with the award-winning MO Bacter, the organic fertiliser for lawns and moss infestation.

David Jenkins, DJ Turfcare's Managing Director, says: "Last year's Saltex was a great success for us and this year we're pleased to place the emphasis on our display of the latest professional edgers, which are in high demand with groundsmen and greenkeepers."
