BTME 2014: The place to be for Golf Club Owners and Managers
Golf club managers and owners have been urged to head to Harrogate for BTME 2014 as a host of Associations from across the world prepare to exhibit and present a series of educational seminars.

Not only does BTME present the opportunity to explore, discuss and plan major investment in your course, discover new innovations and compare hundreds of different products, there are also many opportunities for networking and education aimed specifically at club managers and owners.

This year we're pleased to again welcome the GCMA, UKGCOA and OGRO who have all secured stand space at the exhibition which runs from January 21-23 next year.

Within our first-class Continue to Learn education programme we're delighted to announce a day of education particularly geared towards golf club owners and managers on Wednesday 22 January. Firstly Bob Williams, Chief Executive of the GCMA, will be presenting a seminar on Change Management.

This will be followed by a seminar from Peter Johns, Manager of Eaton Golf Club, Norwich, on how he has managed change at Eaton which has led to an increased membership and an improved atmosphere at the club overall. The final session entitled 'Growing the Game: Get into Golf' features Kyle Phillpots, Director of PGA Education and Career Development.

The cost for a single delegate for the day is £35 plus VAT, and we're running a special offer of £60 plus VAT for two delegates from the same golf club so reserve your space now.

The cost includes a lunch kindly sponsored by England Golf. CMAE, GCMA and PGA Continuing Professional Development points may be awarded on successful completion of workshops or seminars.

There are also two GTC workshops on Tuesday 21 January. The first is an in-depth workshop on 'Getting Your Bunkering Right' which is followed by 'Making Your Golf Course Safe!' Each workshop costs £40 plus VAT but if you attend both it's just £60 plus VAT for a full day of unrivalled education.

BIGGA Chief Executive Jim Croxton said: "We're delighted that the GCMA, UKGCOA and OGRO are once again supporting the exhibition.

In addition the GCMA seminars are an essential part of the week for any golf club owners, managers and operators who are heading to Harrogate.

"BTME is firmly established as the must attend exhibition for all fine turf professionals, but it's also essential for many other members of our industry. I feel we've truly recognised this at BTME 2014 and I look forward to seeing many of you at the show."
