To help beat the frost and snow this Winter the Pitchcare shop is now stocking Rock Salt, Hand Snow Ploughs and an effective new Snow and Ice Melting Compound, which prevents surfaces refreezing for over 24 hours.
The Snow and Ice Melting Compound developed by Tower Chemicals is a newly developed non corrosive product which is used for the removal of snow and ice and to protect surfaces from freezing over. The compound retains exothermic properties that reduce the re-freezing of any surface considerably. Thus significantly helping to prevent any slipiness and making paths, steps, and surfaces safer to walk on.
Rock salt is also available in bulk and small quantities through the shop, for the immediate and effective removal of snow and ice. For clearing snow, the specially designed aluminium "Snow Plow" by Chelwood is perfect for removing heavy snow off paths, playgrounds and fields.
