History will be made at the Keepmoat Stadium on Bank Holiday Monday.
The £32million stadium hosts a double header as Doncaster Rovers entertain Championship rivals Preston North End (3pm) hours before the Dons face an important league clash with Widnes (8pm).
Both sides shared the old Belle Vue ground but it is believed to be the first time the clubs have played on the same pitch on the same day.
