Edinburgh4.jpg Bereavement Services now run a total of seven Highways, which are used to maintain the grassed areas at the 40 cemeteries, burial grounds and churchyards across the City.

Commenting at the handover of the new machines, which was combined with an extensive operator training session, Mike Ewing, Burial Grounds Manager said, "The Highway is an excellent mower for our requirements. It's reliable, lightweight - which is important as it has to operate on soft ground - and has a good transport speed for getting between jobs. The operators like it as it's easy to use with minimum daily checks.

"Fairway's service has been first class and their commitment to training has been impressive. It's very comprehensive and ensures that everyone knows exactly how to operate the equipment." Edinburgh2.jpg
