Global manufacturer and supplier of high-quality fertilizers, Everris, has further demonstrated its commitment to providing first-class technical back-up to its turf and amenity customers by appointing former STRI agronomist, Henry Bechelet, as Technical Sales Manager for its UK and Ireland business unit.
A familiar face in the industry as a regular speaker at industry events, Henry will deliver technical support for the company's extensive range of fertilizers, plant protection products and grass seeds, and will assist the marketing team in communicating its latest research findings to customers.
"I'm delighted to have joined the Everris team," he said. "Through their ongoing research work with STRI, I've been impressed by the company's commitment to research and best practice, especially through its iTurf integrated turf management programmes. Working closely with international technical manager, Stuart Staples, and the rest of the technical team, I hope my appointment will manifest itself in better advice for end-users and distributors."
UK and Ireland Business Manager, Richard Walton, also confirmed the promotion of Ed Carter to National Sales & Development Manager, and hinted that there may be further additions to the team.
"The best turf managers in the world deserve the best technical support, which is why we've made these key appointments. We carry out a huge amount of research each year in the UK and abroad and, in Henry, we now have a knowledgeable and experienced agronomist toassist us in communicating our philosophy and research findings to our customers, in context and with clarity."
"Ed has been instrumental to the development of our UK business, particularly since we became Everris. He will now oversee the UK sales team as well as working on key projects."
"The development of the turf and amenity business at Everris is exciting and fast-moving and our team is going to from strength-to-strength; I expect to be in a position to announce further appointments before the end of the year."
