Brand EverrisThe three most recently appointed members of the Turf and Amenity technical team at Everris, the leading manufacturer of turf and amenity fertilizers, have completed Fertiliser Advisers Certification and Training Scheme (FACTS) training and examination, meaning they are all now FACTS Qualified Advisers.

FACTS is an independent and non-statutory scheme run by BASIS, the independent standards-setting and auditing organisation for the pesticide, fertilizer and allied industries. It is recognised by the fertilizer industry, Defra and the Environment Agency as a successful means of setting standards, training and accrediting the continuing professional development (CPD) for those providing nutrient management advice.

Technical Sales Manager Henry Bechelet and Technical Area Sales Managers Emma Kilby and Lewis Blois undertook four intensive training days in January delivered by Dr David Lawson from STRI.

Their achievement means that all of the company's technical staff are now both BASIS and FACTS qualified.

Richard Walton, Business Manager for Everris in the UK and Ireland, said: "We congratulate Henry, Emma and Lewis on achieving their FACTS qualifications. Our objective as a company is to have to the most technically-proficient staff in the turf industry and to provide the best quality products backed up by first-class technical advice. As members of the Professional Register, we are committed to ongoing training to broaden and enhance our knowledge and skills and to keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technologies."
