First Countax X-Series Rolls off the Production Line
No. 3, witnessed by Countax Dealer, Gary Edwards, Groundscare Sales Manager of the Burgess Group, who placed the order for the first of the new models.
After inspecting the first production model, Gary said "I'm delighted to be the recipient of the first production X-Series, and look forward to seeing the rest of our order in Burgess showrooms. I'm very confident that it will prove popular with our customers, after all, it has an excellent pedigree".
The Countax X-Series models are dramatically different from the current Countax C-Series range, and offer fully articulating steering, with rear engine and front mounted decks. The X-Series range comprises five models X15, X16 and X20 with two-wheel drive, and X16-4WD and X20-4WD which feature four wheel drive 4TRAC technology. In addition, all models will be available with a choice of mulching or high grass mulching cutter decks.
The 4TRAC technology offers excellent cutting performance on slopes, with heavy-duty four-wheel drive on demand through Dynamic Traction Control. This system automatically brings the four-wheel drive into action when required. A unique Countax built in safety feature, Electronic Slope Alert, sounds an alarm to warn the operator before reaching an incline too great for safe mowing.
Further features include electronic lift for the cutter deck, a big 14 litre fuel tank and large 18" tyres for comfort and stability.

The X-Series will be available to purchase from dealers' showrooms from 15th March, in time for the spring growing season.
