0 Football club is growing - but doesn't have enough space for players

The growing junior section of the Jarvis Brook Football Club is still no closer to finding the pitches needed to support young players.

The club, based at Palesgate Lane, has had to approach Crowborough town councillors in a bid to find land for two new pitches.

It has even resorted to looking outside Crowborough for the much- needed land.

Club treasurer Paul Tear said young footballer's aspirations "could be stifled" if land is not found.

He said: "We've had meetings with the town council and it's been working very closely with us in terms of trying to find additional land.
