In the National League System level 2 awards, Peter Allen from Moor Green FC came first in the Dr Marten's League, Alan Mitchell from Wingate and Finchley FC won the Ryman league and Jonathon Wood from Gainsborough Trinity FC topped the nominations in the Unibond League.
The overall winner in this section was Alan Mitchell-again winning a cut glass vase and a holiday for two in Europe.
In National League level 3, Alan Jeeves from the HSBC FC in Sheffield beat off four other regional finalists to win, while The States of Jersey won the Local Authority award. We will post photos and more details on the site later this week, but congratulations to all of the finalists and winners. As one of the judges I have been impressed with the standards that these clubs have achieved and keep maintained. As this is the inaugural year of this now extended competition, I hope that many more clubs and local authorities will be entering the competition next year-further raising the standards of maintenance.
