Free admission for all the family this weekend at British Golf Museum

Press Releasein Golf
This weekend there is double free entry for all the family at the British Golf Museum.

Saturday 17th March is St Patrick's Day and we invite you to bring your children down to the museum to follow our Four Leaf Clover trail around the galleries. Meanwhile, you can enjoy the wonderful exhibitions on display, including our showcase on Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland, the only venue to have held The Open Championship outside mainland Britain. Also on display are items donated by Fred Daly, the only player from Northern Ireland to have won the coveted title - in 1947 at Hoylake.

On Sunday 18th, don't forget it's Mother's Day! If you are looking for a wonderful way to spend time with your Mother or Grandmother, why not come along to the museum? Again, it is free entry for all the family. Why not make this part of a day out in St Andrews, and enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants or hotels close to the museum or take a walk along the beautiful West Sands beach?

On both days, every visitor will receive a free copy of our souvenir guide, a great reminder of your visit. The Musem is open from 10am to 4pm each day.

So come along to the British Golf Museum for free this weekend and take the perfect break from playing golf.
