What do you call someone from Jersey? A jersey-ite? Jersey-ian? No it's a good old Jerseybean! We love that...but we're not sure you can call Jersey RFC's 22 year old 1st XV Prop Myles Landick a bean!
As Official Kit Supplier to Jersey RFC we heard about an 18 stone plus prop forward who was also the team's groundsman and thought it sounded quite the story - so we caught up with Myles and spoke to him about his rugby career so far, and how it balances out with his day job!
Myles is very much a 'Jerseybean' through and through as he was born and bred on the island. "I started playing rugby at 16," he tells us. "And I've loved it ever since."
Being his club's groundsman puts him in a pretty exclusive club, and, as far as he knows, he is the only 1st team player who is also the groundsman for the team he plays for. What a legend!
