A comprehensive line-up from the popular New Holland family of professional machinery will be on show in a new location at BTME 2005. Exhibiting in a new hall, on stand M14, the company will be able to give even greater prominence to its line-up, including models from the established tractor, ride-on mower and commercial mower ranges.

The company's innovation and awareness of grounds professionals' needs is shown by the unique SuperSteer™ front axle that is fitted as standard to many of New Holland's compact and larger tractors. This feature enables an all-wheel drive tractor to have a turning radius that is tighter than some two-wheel drive units, giving greater manoeuvrability, mowing efficiency and easier grass-cutting around obstacles.

Tractors with SuperSteer are all equipped with an automatic four-wheel drive system which operates by disengaging the 4-wheel drive when it senses a difference in speed between the front and rear axles during turning. This cleverly enables the tractor to make the turn in 2-wheel drive mode, and then re-engages 4-wheel drive when the turn is completed. The result is less wheel scrub, and reduced risk of turf damage.

Tractors are available with power outputs ranging from 18hp to 285hp, a span that few other manufacturers can challenge. Such a versatile line-up of models can meet the requirements of all grounds and turf care professionals. Many also have a refreshing new styling to add a sleeker look to the range, as well as increasing all round visibility.

Popular with many contractors and landscaping professionals are New Holland's 14hp GT65 and 16hp GT75 purpose-built, diesel ride-on mowers. User-friendly features include hydrostatic transmission for infinite speed control and easy changes of direction.

Professionals cutting on an even larger scale choose units like New Holland's 28hp MC28 and 35hp MC35 commercial mowers, designed for high work-rate performance on local authority parkland areas, wide verges and playing fields. These machines have received a huge thumbs-up from operators, who appreciate the deluxe seat and the ergonomically designed operating environment. This makes them a joy to use, and has to be experienced to be appreciated. Hydrostatic drive is standard, and the multi-plate PTO clutch automatically disengages as the deck is raised for transportation, stopping the blades from spinning and enhancing user safety.

Users can tailor their MC28 and MC35 to their specific needs with a range of options. These include a choice of decks, folding ROPS, and a full road lighting kit. This enables grounds care professionals to obtain equipment offering the most effective and efficient solution.

BTME visitors can learn about all other aspects of New Holland's all-embracing customer care programme, including the dedicated dealer network offering specialist workshop facilities, prompt spare parts backup and finance packages.
