Who are you? Nick Darking, General Manager at Charterhouse Turf Machinery.

Family status? Divorced - one daughter, aged 12.

Who's your hero and why? Peter Silton, the ultimate professional - I always wanted to be a pro goalie!

What would you change about yourself? About 3 stone!

What do you drop everything for? My daughter.

What's been the highlight of your career so far? My promotion to General Manager.

What are your pet peeves? People who don't 'listen' when you are talking to them.

If you could go anywhere right now, where would it be? Bermuda.

What's the best part of your job? Meeting so many different people at different locations. I always enjoy a good demo too.

Favourite record, and why? Robbie Williams - Let me entertain you, and The Jam's Going Underground.

Who would you choose to spend a romantic evening with? Someone with a head for figures!

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? Distribute a lot of it through the family, and then buy a Range Rover.

What's the best advice you have ever been given? Treat people as you would like to be treated.

What's your favourite smell? Chocolate.

What do you do in your spare time? I play golf and work on my new house, in between running my daughter around!

What's the daftest work related question you have ever been asked? How long do these tines last?

What's your favourite piece of kit? The Verti-Drain, obviously!

What three words would you use to describe yourself? Thoughtful, driven, bald!

What talent would you like to have? To be able to sing.

What law/legislation would you like to see introduced? The right to die for the terminally ill.
