Family status? Married with two children.

Who's your hero and why? Denzil Martin, a good friend who has always given me support, guidance and encouragement.

What would you change about yourself? Be more organised.

What's your guilty pleasure? Chocolate.

What's been the highlights of your career so far? Becoming head greenkeeper at Aberdovey.

Which three people, living or dead, would you invite to a dinner party? Rowan Atkinson, Morgan Freeman and Victoria Wood.

If you could be anyone for a day, who would it be and why? Lewis Hamilton - so I could do what I wanted.

Do you have any bad habits? Too many to mention!

... or any good ones? Being helpful to others.

Do you go to bed worrying about the next day's workload? Sometimes.

What are you reading at the moment? Jeremy Clarkson.

What are your pet peeves? Bad timekeepers.

If you could go anywhere right now, where would it be? Florida.

What's the best part of your job? When the sun shines and everything is in place.

… and the worst? When breakdowns occur.

Do you have a lifetime ambition? To stay fit and healthy.

Favourite record, and why? Whiter Shade Of Pale by Procol Harum.

If you were to describe yourself as a musical instrument, what would you be and why? A piccolo - small and quiet, but still a nice tune.

Who would you choose to spend a romantic evening with? My wife, of course!.

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? Buy a Morgan car.

What's your favourite smell? Garlic/onions being fried.

What do you do in your spare time? I have been a member of the lifeboat crew for over thirty years and have also had a starring role in the local village pantomime for over twenty years. Other than that, I enjoy gardening and playing golf (occasionally).

What's the best advice you have ever been given? Respect others.

What's the daftest work related question you have ever been asked? Why don't you put road salt on the greens to get rid of the frost?

What's your favourite piece of kit? Charterhouse Verticore.

What three words would you use to describe yourself? Daft, kind, quiet.

What talent would you like to have? To play the guitar.

What law/legislation would you like to see introduced? To have a say on chemical use.
