Golf club greenkeeper plays eight courses in a day

Lyme Regis Golf Club's greenkeeper Tom Glover has raised funds for Julia's House Hospice and Alzheimers UK after playing eight different golf courses in one day - that's 144 holes!

Tom, who lives in Seaton, took on the challenge on Friday, when he started at 4.00am playing courses in Dawlish Warren, Exeter, Burleigh Salterton, Woodbury Park, Honiton, Sidmouth and Axe Cliff before finishing in Lyme Regis.

He is hoping to raise £500 for the charities Julia's House Hospice and Alzheimer's UK and donations can still be made online at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/thomas-glover2
