Good attendance to see Wiedenmann

EXCELLENT ATTENDANCE AT BARNHAM BROOM FOR WIEDENMANN DEMO DAY

The beautiful warm spring weather of March and April retreated briefly to leave conditions reminiscent of mid-winter as Bartram Mowers held a Wiedenmann Demonstration Day at Barnham Broom Golf Club, situated close to Wymondham on the outskirts of Norwich.

With the permission of Brian Lemmon, the Course Manager at Barnham Broom, the Practice Area was used for the demonstrations where customers were able to view a wide selection of equipment in operation.

Much interest was generated on the practice green as the Terra Spike range created various patterns and hole depths to demonstrate the deep aeration and compaction relief attributes of the equipment. A Pro-Cast PC2 and Terra Top top-dresser were used to dress the green after aeration and the Whisper Twister leaf blower resulted in some hastily buttoning and zipping up of jackets as it blasted air across the green.

Chas Ayres, Regional Sales Manager for Wiedenmann UK said,It was a very successful day in spite of the cold weather. The turnout from greenkeepers and contractors was excellent and it provided an opportunity for them to see the full range of equipment that we can offer. Eddie Jack of Bartram's did a tremendous job of organising the event and the hospitality of Brian Lemmon and Barnham Broom was superb; the lunch and refreshments kept the cold at bay.
