In October 2012 we were pleased to announce that thanks to the ongoing demand for products and services Ian MacMillan and Andrew Turnbull had joined forces with The Glenside Group, a leading manufacturer of organic products and one of their major suppliers.
As of 1st March 2013 Sustainable Turf Management Limited has been formed to take the concept of Growing Great Turf onto a new level. Ian MacMillan and Andrew Turnbull, are directors and shareholders in this new amenity division of the Glenside Group Ltd.
Sustainable Turf Management Limited incorporates Ian and Andrew's experience in "Growing Great Turf' Sustainably" and will provide the support, technology and products to enable managers to meet the goals of sustainable turf management as set out by the leading UK sports bodies and various accreditation bodies such as The R&A, The FA, RFU and GEO Oncourse etc.
The expertise built up by Ian and Andrew coupled with an enhanced and proven product range under the BioSM and Seagreen® labels will enable managers to realise their ambitions of growing great playing surfaces in a more environmentally friendly way using natural products and with reduced dependence on chemical inputs.
Using their extensive facilities in Livingston, West Lothian, Glenside will manufacture all the new company's product range, including granular and liquid products, based on the highest quality seaweed and organic/mineral nutrients. This partnership will enable Ian and Andrew to continue to provide their existing quality of service to their valued customers, whilst also providing a secure basis for future growth and expansion.
