JSM Distribution have launched a 'price watch' initiative called 'GT Tines' for their Soil Reliever range of deep aerators. Peter Biddlecombe, Parts Manager, commented 'The GT (Genuine Tines) initiative represents a significant overhaul of our tine pricing and availability for Soil Reliever owners, current and future. Since taking on the UK distribution for the Soil Reliever range at the end of last year we have invested in stock of all our tine options, a choice of 32 in all, to ensure immediate availability to our dealers and end user customers.'
The increased stock investment has had to be put in place to support the response to the other significant element of the 'GT' programme, a major review of UK pricing. Adds Peter, 'We undertook a complete overhaul of the UK pricing that we inherited. The result being reductions across the board, with some tines being reduced by as much as 63%. To ensure that this hard work provides benefits into the future, we now check the market for competitive pricing activity very couple of months, including 'will fit' suppliers, to ensure that we are delivery great value to our customers with a quality product. The Soil Reliever range has the only 2-year 'standard' factory warranty amongst deep tine aerators, the only condition of which is the use of genuine parts and tines during the warranty period. 'Our focus on tine pricing just enhances further the already great value and low cost of ownership represented by the Soil Reliever. Backed by our high parts order fill rate, we aim to also keep our customers out on the turf'.
