Chris Hughton believes that should Newcastle United achieve their main objective of survival this season the club's ground staff will be entitled to their fair share of credit.
United's groundsman Mick Curran and his team worked around the clock to ensure the clash with Chelsea went ahead on Sunday, and efforts were made this week at the Toon's Benton HQ to facilitate at least some outdoor training.
Hughton told the Chronicle: "We've been affected more than most I would say because of the sheer volume of snow that we've had up here.
