Industry award for Nottingham dealership

P S Marsden Ltd of Colwick, Nottingham has won the 2011 Website Award at the annual Industry Awards Dinner held at Windsor on 6 September.

The Awards, organised by the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA) in association with trade magazine, Service Dealer, and leading machinery supplier Stihl , recognise sales and service excellence amongst dealers in the land-based equipment market comprising farm machinery, garden machinery, professional turfcare and ATV/Quads.

In the 2011 Smart Business category, which recognises excellence in Advertising, Marketing, Showroom Display and Website, dealerships are nominated by manufacturers and suppliers across the industry and the final shortlist then assessed by an independent panel.

Chris Biddle, editor of Service Dealer said "The finalists reflect the high standard of service and commitment to customer care provided by dealers across the UK".

In selecting Marsden as the winner of the Website Award, the judges said " For independent businesses, their website needs to reflect the nature of their business. The Marsden website achieves this by being friendly, approachable, informative and accessible - with a touch of fun about it. The website contains essential information about the company itself, but also a lot more about the products it sells through a video library containing product demonstrations and operator guides".
