Kestrel Golf & Sports' new state-of-the-art turfing machine had a baptism of fire when it was first used to lay a new pitch at the Millennium Stadium for this year's FA Cup Final.

The BRL120 really had to prove its worth, with such a short amount of time to prepare the surface before the eyes of the nation focused on the year's most prolific footballing fixture.

It's not just quick - it's accurate too. A unique guide works in front of the machine ensuring precision placement of the turf, achieving 98% accuracy of laying every time against the previous line. This guide also eliminates the need to use boards on the pitch and reduces labour costs for the contractor.

The BRL120 is the latest addition to Kestrel's own tailored fleet of specialist equipment. Sales Director Billy Martin commented: "We've made a considerable investment in the very latest machinery to ensure we continue to provide an unrivaled service to our clients."
