Kotla to see action February onwards

The dust around the 'controversial' Kotla pitch hasn't settled down yet. The blame game is still on while no DDCA official is ready to take any blame for the abandonment of the fifth ODI between India and Sri Lanka last month over an "unplayable and dangerous" track. The factions within DDCA are out to pull each other down.

Meanwhile, as the Indian cricket board (BCCI) fights to salvage the situation for Kotla, the DDCA is trying to come up with a pitch good enough for top class cricket and has instructed the ground staff to start work on the pitch so that it is playable by next month.
