Valderrama 033AClub de Golf Valderrama, situated at San Roque in southern Spain and voted the number 1 golf course in continental Europe, has taken delivery of a fleet of 40 RXV golf cars from local E-Z-GO distributor, Green Mowers.

General Manager Javier Reviriego was appointed just over a year ago and has extensive management experience acquired at several prestigious golf facilities on Spain's Costa del Sol. His previous position was at Finca Cortesin, the golfing and residential development close to Estepona and prior to this he managed Fuerteventura Golf Resort and Real Sotogrande.

Valderrama 026ASpeaking at the official handover of the fleet in July he said, "I've been particularly impressed with the design of these new buggies. They are well-made, robust and look good. The braking system is excellent, especially the way the brakes are applied automatically when the vehicle stops and the battery life is giving us at least two rounds for every charging cycle.

"We have 400 members and 12,000 rounds of golf played here and, as the number one golf course in continental Europe, it is very important that the buggies reflect the quality of the golfing experience that we provide at Club de Golf Valderrama."

The new RXVs replace a fleet of competitor vehicles at the resort, which hosted the Volvo Masters for 16 years, the Ryder Cup in 1997 and the Andalucia Masters in 2010 and 2011.
