Launch of MANKAR Roll ULV Spraying Systems

Mantis ULV are exhibiting their new MANKAR-Roll ultra low volume spraying systems at the world's leading horticulture show, 'IPM in Essen', Germany on the 28th to 31st of January.

Like in the current models the patented segment rotation atomiser and a wheel driven pump ensure the accurate and targeted application of herbicides regardless of walking speed.

The all new MANKAR-Roll models feature an electronic atomiser and operator battery condition indicator which uses a traffic light system through a glowing LED.

A green light indicates sufficient charge, yellow glow that the battery is low and red if there is a problem powering spray through the atomiser. The machine is light to push and designed to spray effectively on uneven terrain with an ergonomic 53cm wheel.

The spray unit features three hoods all with improved functions and capabilities. A spray width between 25 and 110 cm can be achieved by varying the combination and alignment of the spray hoods.

Spray hoods can be assembled either in front or behind the wheel and extension arms are also available. The spray hood has been designed to

flap back if contact is made with an obstacle, automatically allowing the spray width to varied in-between objects i.e. a row between plants.Spray hoods can be set as fixed if the spring back mechanism is not preferred by the operator.

The international trade fair for plants (IPM ESSEN) is held in Essen, Central Germany and attracts exhibitors and visitors from over 100 different countries, Mantis can be found on stand 3D76.

The new MANKAR-Roll models will be available for demonstrations and to purchase in the UK from SprayCDA from March this year. Clearance deals available on existing stock models: Mankar-P 70-110, Mankar-P 45 (Left), Mankar-P 30-50 Flex, Mankar-P 70-110 Select.
