LELY UK appoints business analyst for Toro Turf Division

Toro distributor Lely UK has appointed Daniel Spencer, 32, to the new position of business analyst. Mr Spencer is working with the company's I.T. systems to provide data and analyses that will improve the quality and range of information available to support Lely's Toro sales and after sales operations.

An I.T. expert with an interest in building and maintaining databases, he produces custom reports that will aid Lely in all aspects of its Toro business processes such as budgeting, forecasting, sales and after sales analysis.

Mr Spencer's appointment follows in the wake of Lely becoming a Toro 'full line' distributor, after the St Neots-based company added first Toro Irrigation and then Consumer Products to its long-standing Toro Commercial Products portfolio. He is responsible for all three product areas.

Lely's Turf Division manager Peter Mansfield said: "Daniel's appointment will help us cope with the stresses and strains of a rapidly-growing division. The I.T. and systems analysis work he does will help us drive the business forward."

Born in Hemel Hempstead and brought up in Tring, Herts, after leaving education in the early Nineties, Mr Spencer developed his I.T. career with international software distributor Sam Direct. He now lives at Hartford, in Huntingdon, with his fiancé Clare.
