0 Liverpool FC release new visuals of training centre

Last week, Liverpool FC released new visuals of the KSS-designed Training Centre in Kirkby, as progress continues ahead of completion next summer.

The state-of-the-art Training Centre will bring together Liverpool's First Team and Academy operations together for the first time.

The new, multi-use building will incorporate a range of media, football operations and specialist training facilities, including an extensive hydrotherapy complex, gymnasiums, medical, sports rehabilitation suites and various relaxation facilities, providing a motivational environment for elite athletes for both body and mind.

KSS Chairman David Keirle said: "It is really exciting to see the progress being made on site. Our designs for this Training Facility reflect the identity and ambition of Liverpool FC. They provide a clear, aspirational pathway to the First Team, whilst retaining the requirement for each player to earn the right to progress to every level. The extensive use of natural light, together with a cool, restrained material palette will deliver a relaxed but motivational interior, which will be unmistakeably Liverpool."

"The complex has really taken shape since the installation of the last glulam beam earlier this year, with the external brickwork now completed and work progressing well on interior of the building. We look forward to the to the completion of the Training Centre in 2020."
