Lixion, A world First!

Lamberhurst Engineering Limited, the UK distributor of Pellenc electric pruners have just unveiled Lixion, the next generation.

Pellenc have scored a world first - invention of a new technology enabling the use of lithiumion batteries as the power supply for power tools, resulting in the registration of two patents.

The Lixion model is also 30% more powerful than its predecessor, providing a greater pruning capacity (up to a 30mm diameter), but still retaining complete cutting control with finger mimicking action.

Numerous trails have been conducted over the past two pruning seasons, demonstrating that the Lixion can be used for up to three days without recharging. The Lixion is also fitted with a charge indicator, so you will never be caught out with a flat battery again.

Lixion is the fruit of some six years of research and development by a team of ten people working full time in the Pellenc research centre, based at Pertuis in the South of France. Pellenc have invested over two million Euros in the research and development of Lixion.

The 'Lixion' is now on sale in the UK from Lamberhurst Engineering.
