Low emission LPG for Hydro 80/MKHPG Ride-on
As concerns about global warming continue, the need to protect our environment and keep air pollution to a minimum becomes imperative.
With this in mind, Etesia is launching the Hydro 80/MKHPG - an 80cm ride-on rotary fuelled by LPG. In terms of exhaust emissions, LPG is cleaner burning than both petrol and diesel.
Furthermore, with LPG currently retailing at around half the price of petrol and diesel, users of this new ride-on can expect to cut fuel bills by about 50%! If purchased in bulk even greater savings can be made.
From an operational point of view, a full tank of gas allows Hydro 80/MKHPG to run for a full 12 hours, so the operator can work a long day without the need to refuel.
In addition to reducing harmful exhaust fumes, the 15hp twin-cylinder Kawasaki engine which powers this mower is designed for quiet running, keeping noise pollution to a minimum.
Built for durability and reliability in tough working conditions, Hydro 80/MKHPG cuts and collects on lawns and rough grass - it also collects leaves and litter. As the only professional ride-on rotary on the market narrow enough to access a standard gateway, it reaches sites where others cannot go. It is easily transported in a truck or trailer.
Heavy-duty hydrostatic transmission provides forward and reverse-drive, cutting and collecting in both directions. This ride-on is highly manoeuvrable when mowing round grave stones, litterbins, benches, etc. Its low centre of gravity and even weight distribution ensures stability on slopes and the wheels' size minimises turf marking.
Hydro 80/MKHPG is easy-to-operate; all controls are within reach of the user; and from the comfortable suspension seat the user has good all-round visibility. The grass box is emptied from the driving position and single lever cutting height adjustment is variable. The base of the large 240 litre collector is removed for non-collection and a side-discharge deflector is available.
