0 MAJOR Equipment to unveil innovative rotary mower deck

The popular Kubota F Series and John Deere 1400/1500 Series II Front Mowers traditionally use a belted mower deck for fine surface cutting.

In order to handle coarser grass the purchase of a dedicated fl ail mower deck was required. To help operators reduce their capital costs, MAJOR Equipment has designed an innovative new solution compatible with these mower models:

Instead of investing in a fl ail mower deck, groundscare professionals can choose the new MAJOR SYNERGY rotary mower, offering the benefit of a professional striped finish while retaining the versatility of a mower capable of handling rougher grass and terrain.

With fewer wearing parts - approximately half those of a typical flail mower - the MAJOR SYNERGY offers expert reliability, durability and lower running costs.

The body is produced from Optim™high-strength steel which is 220% stronger, yet much lighter than steel traditionally used in machinery manufacturing.

As a result the overall weight of the machine is reduced without compromising on build quality.

It provides a compelling cost-effective solution for local authorities, landscape gardeners and other groundscare professionals that demand a reliable finish across all grass l engths and types, including sports pitches and parks.

Andy Melville is the Commercial Director at GGM Groundscare in Colne, Lancashire and counts
local authorities throughout the UK as customers:

" Our customers' needs are changing. Local government budgets are currently incredibly tight and as a result there's a reduction in the frequency of routine cutting cycles.

Councils are looking at new ways to manage their workloads: Not only does the MAJOR SYNERGY produce an excellent finish with a nice striped effect, the robust design allows it to be used instead of a flail mower for the less frequently cut areas. With this choice customers are in effect getting two machines for the price of one!"

With working widths of 1.6m and 1.88m, unique heavy duty swinging blade system, adjustable contour-following castor wheels,an adjustable rear roller, gear driven driveline (with rubber shock absorbers) the MAJOR SYNERGY is designed and
specifi ed for easy operation, superb performance and a professional finish.
