Manchester United's groundsman, Tony Sinclair, is getting stick from players because he is a dead ringer for the dancing builder in the MoneySupermarket telly ads
United's stars have been pointing out his resemblance to Colin the builder from the financial services firm's new TV ads.
A source said: "Tony has been at Manchester United nearly 25 years and is a fixture around the place. He gets loads of banter all the time from the lads.
"But since the new MoneySupermarket adverts came on he's been getting loads of stick. They've been asking him if he's got a sideline as a builder who likes to dance. Some have been calling him Colin and telling him they love seeing him on the telly."
United fans have also picked up on Tony's resemblance to chunky Colin.
In the ad, 'Colin' gyrates round a scaffolding pole on a building roof to the Liberty X hit Just A Little Bit as hundreds of watching office workers in a neighbouring skyscraper clap and cheer.
The club source said: "It won't be long before he gets his own song from the stands. He's a great guy. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't break into a little routine on the pitch."
