John Deere dealership Masons Kings has been listed in a landmark report by the London Stock Exchange that identifies some of the UK's most exciting and dynamic small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).

The report lists the 1000 most inspiring SMEs in over 100 sectors, ranging from high street shops to high-tech manufacturing, based on consistent outperformance of their sector average in previous years.

These 'gazelle' companies, as the CBI describes them, are of exceptional importance to UK economic growth and job creation and are powering the country's economic recovery, says Xavier Rolet, CEO of the London Stock Exchange Group.

He was speaking at the recent launch of the LSE's new publication, '1000 Companies to Inspire Britain'.

Masons Kings has been a machinery dealership for 40 years, a John Deere agricultural dealer for over 30, and first established its John Deere professional turf division in 2007.

The business has depots at Chudleigh in Devon and Dulverton in Somerset selling agricultural and turf machinery, and opened a new commercial and homeowner equipment showroom at St Columb in Cornwall in 2011.

"We are delighted to hear that we have been listed in the Stock Exchange report '1000 Companies to Inspire Britain'," says Masons Kings owner Roger Prior. "It's a great tribute to our dedicated and skilled staff, who work hard to provide our customers with premium products and premium support.

We are proud to be showcasing the strength and potential of the West Country business community in this prestigious publication.

"We intend to continue to grow our business by providing the same high level of sales, service and parts support to all our customers, new and old. We have a wealth of experience in dealing with a wide range of customers, and our aim is always to offer the best possible service."
