Masons Kings are the largest John Deere Dealer in the South West and cover Cornwall, Devon, East Somerset and East Dorset.
The day was aimed at all professional turf machinery users with a clear message "Premier Product - Premier Support". Held in the delightful setting of St Mellion Golf Club, the weather did not dampen the efforts of the Turf Sales Team.
The general manager of Masons Kings, Peter Endacott, stated the turf division was growing since taking over the South West dealership for John Deere Commercial and Domestic sales and that exciting times lay ahead.
He went on to say he was very proud of his team and their professionalism.
Andrew Bowey has recently taken the position as Team leader of Commercial sales. Andrew has over 30 years of life in the turf industry which started as an apprentice Groundsman.
He went on to become a Course Manager at a number of Golf Clubs around the UK, including a Group Course Manager for 10 clubs in the South East.
He has also been a Contract Manager for a National Grounds Maintenance Company. His previous position was as Territorial Manager for a John Deere dealer near London covering a number of the Home County's.
Andrew Said, I hope that my experience of working "On the other side of the fence" will be beneficial to the Company but more importantly, to our Customers.
I have run small and large fleets of machinery and have always been a John Deere supporter.
I believe that my team and I will be able to provide a service second to none with correct recommendation from the start to excellent after service. I very much look forward to meeting our customers and being involved with local events and industry seminars.
A free entry draw for a Kids Electric Tractor and Trailer was won by Graeme Gillimore of Launceston Golf Club.
Due to the success of the day Masons Kings are hoping to hold the event again next year.
