Mike's a real all-rounder

Mike Roby has been appointed as Campey Turf Care Systems' new Sales Representative for Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, and is ideally qualified for the post. He has experience of all sides of the industry, having worked as a professional Groundsman and as a contractor, as well as in turf care equipment sales.

Mike, whose home is in Harrogate, started his career on the grounds staff at Wigan Athletic FC and then moved to Blackburn Rovers as Assistant Groundsman. He then joined the specialist contractors, Premier Pitches, before switching to sales with Sisis and, now, Campey Turf Care based in Macclesfield.

His considerable turfcare expertise means that he is familiar with all the kinds of equipment in the comprehensive Campey stable. The purpose-built line-up includes Koro turf rejuvenation equipment, Nunes rotary mulching mower decks, Raycam Hi-Lift trailers for materials handling tasks, Poyntz turf harvesters and the Super Scub powered dumper.

Mike can also talk about turf care from a player's perspective. A Wigan Athletic supporter, he plays soccer every weekend for a local club.
