Living up to their reputation for providing strong and rugged professional products, Charterhouse Turf Machinery have launched the Marina range of heavy-duty rotary mowers. The line-up includes a comprehensive selection of walk-behind units, together with a ride-on lawn tractor.

Topping the range of walk-behind units are the 'MX' series. These feature eye-catching stainless steel decks that resist rust and provide great strength. This makes them ideal for grounds professionals, landscapers and contractors.

All MX units are self-propelled. Two models, the MX 46SH and MX52 SH, have 4.5 and 5.5hp Honda petrol engines, while the flagship MX 52 SBTM has a Briggs & Stratton power unit with a 'Touch & Mow' feature, designed for effortless first-time starting.

The cutting height of the MX units can be adjusted between 20-65mm.

The Marina 'AX' series have painted steel decks and feature Honda petrol engines throughout. They include the push-type AK 47H together with self-propelled models, namely the AK 47SH and AK 53SH, which both have 4.5hp engines, and the 5.5hp AK 57SH.

The model number denotes width of cut, measured in centimetres. Height of cut is 20-65mm on all but the AK 57SH, which has a maximum cutting height of 80mm.

All Marina mowers have a safety blade stop mechanism and each comes complete with a large capacity grass bag.

The Marina lawn tractor is available in four variants, with cutting widths from 67-102cm. All have Briggs & Stratton engines. Three models, the 10.5hp Hydrostar, the 12.5hp Eurocut 2000 and the 16.5hp Eurocut Twin Gear have gearboxes with five forward gears and one reverse, while the Eurocut Twin Hydro has hydrostatic transmission for infinitely variable speed control.

Each Marina tractor has a capacious rear-mounted grass collector, which is easily emptied from the operator's seat.
