MF 1529M b.jpgMassey Ferguson has revised its 1500 Series compact tractor range with the introduction of the MF 1529M, a 28hp three-cylinder model with an 8 forward, 8 reverse Synchro-Shuttle transmission giving forward speeds from 2.3 - 27km/h.

For those requiring slower speeds for drainage and turf aeration work, Massey Ferguson offers a creep speed option to provide a 12 forward, 12 reverse gearbox with a minimum forward speed of just 0.5km/h

Replacing the MF 1528 in the 1500 Series line-up, the new model joins the 32hp MF 1532M launched by the company at BTME 2008. These two new four-wheel drive tractors have been purpose-designed to appeal to golf courses, parks and grounds staff, landscapers and professional gardeners wanting a rugged, no-frills, yet highly versatile tractor capable of handling cost-effectively a wide range of tasks throughout the year.

Typical applications include soil aeration and cultivation, fertiliser spreading, over-seeding, top dressing, trailer towing and front-end loading.

Equipped with a rear-mounted foldable roll-over protection structure (ROPS), the MF 1529M has as standard an independent 540/1,000 rpm rear power take-off (PTO) with push button activation, an independent mid PTO and twin spool valves with optional joystick control. Further features include a 35 litre fuel tank, heavy-duty front axle, power steering and a hydraulic pump producing almost 31 l/min. Lift capacity at the Category 1 rear linkage ball-ends is an impressive 1,100kg.

Available for demonstrations now through Massey Ferguson's appointed dealer network, the MF 1529M has a starting price of £13,430 (+ VAT).
