New Export Regional Sales Manager at Ransomes Jacobsen

Jan Tomcik has been appointed to the role of Export Regional Sales Manager at Ransomes Jacobsen, one of the leading manufacturers of commercial mowers, turf maintenance equipment and compact utility and industrial vehicles, based at Ipswich in Suffolk, United Kingdom.

Reporting to Rupert Price, Sales Director, he will be responsible for business development, equipment sales and dealer support across Poland, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Czech Republic and the Balkan countries.

Jan has a Masters degree in Infomatics and Economics from the University of Agriculture in Prague and a Business Diploma in Trade and Foreign Business. He joins Ransomes Jacobsen from Tatra, the specialist military and commercial heavy vehicle manufacturer, based at Kop?ivnice in the Czech Republic where he was their Direct Accounts Sales Manager. His previous experience includes national and international sales management roles at Goodyear/Dunlop Tyres, Iveco and Renault Trucks, all based in the Prague area.

A Czech national, he lives with his wife Bronislava and their three young children Jan, Sofie and Natalie in Prague. A devoted family man, he also enjoys football, ice hockey, keeping fit and has an interest in all motor sports.
