John Shanahanin Industry News

torocabA new cab is now available for the Toro CT2120 and CT2140 Compact Triple Mowers. The cab is fitted with a highly efficient heater-blower and an easy to operate tilt system, both as standard. It has been developed to the latest ROPS standard, ISO 21299.

The full weather cab has a large rearward opening door for easy access, rear and front opening windows and a right hand door for emergency use, windscreen wash and wipe and wing mirrors. There is provision for a roof mounted flashing beacon, for an illuminated number plate and for an audio installation. With the noise deadening kit fitted as standard, the internal sound level in the cab measures less than 85dBa.

The new tilting cab, unique to this sector, has been designed to maximise operating efficiency and reduce workshop time and costs to the minimum. Access to the main service and maintenance areas is extremely easy. The cab tilt system incorporates a gas-strut mechanism which makes it very easy for one person to raise and lower the cab.

The height of the mower fitted with the new cab is important. At 2066mm the CT with the cab fitted is 224mm lower than a CT with ROPS in the raised position and comfortably lower than the 2400mm regulation height for a full sized goal post. The new cab is now available to order for fitment to new machines and for retro-fitting. .
