H124DS---new-high-tip-attac.jpgFor 2008, Etesia has announced that end users now have the opportunity to increase the scope of their Hydro 124DS ride-on rotary through the addition of a revolutionary low-cost (MHD124) accessory designed to convert the machine's grass collector from ground-emptying to hydraulic 'high-tip' emptying.

As the first lawnmower manufacturer to develop a retro-fit system of this kind, Etesia is again leading the way for the industry. General Manager for Etesia UK Ltd, Les Malin says, "In the current economic climate, budgets this year are likely to be tight - customers will want value for money and a high return on investment. This cost effective attachment fits the bill - it provides users with all the benefits of high-tip emptying at a low cost. Whilst the unit can be used to inexpensively upgrade existing Hydro 124DS mowers in the field; it also makes very sound commercial sense to consider its financial benefits when buying a new ride-on. The combined list price of a Hydro124DS ride-on mower plus the MHD124 high-tip accessory adds up to an extremely attractive deal for a machine of Etesia's quality and performance!"

Keenly priced at £1,280.00 plus VAT (excluding fitting) Etesia's MHD124 hydraulic high-tip conversion kit can be workshop-fitted to the Hydro 124DS in up to a couple of hours.

When pitching for business, the MHD124 high-tip option gives operators added flexibility and choice of grass disposal. Clippings can either be deposited on site, or, with hydraulic emptying up to a height of 1.8 metres, they can be tipped into a truck, trailer or skip ready for removal. Mounted between the ride-on mower's rear wheels; the 600 litres grassbox has a special flap designed to avoid spillage. The mower's ejection chute is cleared with each emptying to prevent blockages.

Powered by a well-proven 25hp Lombardini diesel engine, the Hydro 124DS is hydraulically operated for ease-of-use, reliability and low maintenance. This 124cm ride-on rotary is designed for high productivity, with a top working speed of up to 16km/h, depending on conditions. Low decibel levels of the machine meet operator health and safety requirements, and prevent noise pollution. All controls are within easy reach of the driver and ergonomic design ensures total operator comfort to minimise fatigue.
