New Holland's Crown Jewels

ernest doeNew Holland, one of the strongest brands in groundcare machinery, has supplied no fewer than 11 of its modern tractors to Crown Golf, Europe's largest Golf Club owner/operator which manages 31 facilities throughout the UK.

This sizeable order, which was negotiated by Steve Bush from the Ernest Doe dealership in Benington, Hertfordshire, is particularly pleasing for New Holland because Crown Golf have hitherto bought tractors from another manufacturer.

Crown Golf personnel visited New Holland's state-of-the-art factory in Basildon, Essex, and were won over by the quality of the products and the full backup service supplied by the manufacturer's dealers.

The organisation had no hesitation in ordering five New Holland TC40D-A 40hp tractors, five TC45D-A 45hp models and one 60hp TN60D-A. They are destined for a variety of courses within the Crown Golf network.

The chosen models epitomise New Holland's operator-focused commitment to identifying and meeting the needs of greenkeepers and turf care professionals. The sleek curved panels combine aesthetic appeal with practicality having excellent service access, while the sloping engine hoods have a narrow profile for excellent all-round visibility.

Tractors are available with a host of features and options to enable users to fine-tune models to their individual requirements, including New Holland's unique SuperSteer™ front axle, designed to provide 4-wheel drive models with a turning circle that is tighter than some 2-wheel drive tractors. Manual or hydrostatic transmission is available and fully glazed cabs give driver comfort, protection and panoramic vision.

Aware that today's groundcare managers seek high work-rate and economy, New Holland's tractors are powered by diesel engines designed for high performance and maximum fuel efficiency.
