0 New Hydrostatic Drive takes Classen forward

7244CL_TSS20H_IN_AR_126.jpgJSM Distribution is set to launch a new hydrostatic model line of heavy duty pedestrian turf cutters and a new hydrostatic drive pedestrian turf rake and overseeder from Classen.

The new turf cutter models feature an incredibly smooth and controllable hydrostatic drive with a high transport speed of 7.5 km/h. Cutting widths are easily altered by changing the blade, allowing widths of 30cm, 45cm and 60cm at a cutting speed of 40 metres a minute.

JSM Sales Manager, David Timms commented 'The light but precise throttle control and infinitely variable hydrostatic drive make these models extremely easy to handle, for any operator. Classen already have a very positive reputation for their heavy duty mechanical drive models, this new range will build further upon that reputation'.

The simple operation and easy depth adjustment make this new range ideally suited to a wide range of users including landscape contractors, rental/ hire shops, golf courses, local authorities and many more.

The new self propelled TSS2-20H is designed for use on lawns or other general turf areas. As well as being an overseeder this model can be quickly fitted with alternative blades for verti-cutting and de-thatching. The smooth drive system provides an operating speed up to 5.5 km/h. The models has an overall operating width of 50cm, 27kg seed hopper, a blade spacing of 3.8cm and 5 preset working depths to choose from.
