2009_ECH_Studio_PB-500.jpgNew from ECHO, is the PB-500 backpack blower with new Stratified Scavenging engine, ideal for clearing leaves, litter and debris. The new PB-500 produces an incredible 1014m³/h air volume and a maximum air speed of 42.4m/sec using the newly developed 50.8cc stratified scavenging engine from ECHO, with significantly lower emissions.

The engine features a large air filter resulting in longer periods between maintenance checks, and newly designed cylinder and piston for enhanced performance.

The new anti-vibration padded backpack frame and shoulder straps enable the operator to carry the 10kg blower in comfort, and a variable speed hip-mounted throttle with cruise control enables prolonged use.

A new design of fan and fan housing enables increased air speed and volume, and an improved debris protector ensures that the air intake is fully protected from leaves and debris, maximising air flow capacity.

The new PB-500 features the new ECHO Posi-loc™ pipe system, which ensures a secure pipe connection at all times. A series of grooves and ridges winds around adjoining pipes keeping sections connected and simple twist of the lower pipe is all it takes to lock or unlock a section. While other systems with a single groove connection will wear over time, the ECHO Posi-loc with 5 grooves will ensure a secure connection at all times.

The new ECHO PB-500 is available from all authorised ECHO dealers, SRP £389.00 + Vat.
