New MF grounds care dealer for South Lincolnshire & North Cambridgeshire

Massey Ferguson has appointed Fentons of Bourne as a specialist grounds care sales and service dealer for an important area of eastern England encompassing south Lincolnshire and north Cambridgeshire.

The appointment further reinforces Massey Ferguson's growing reputation as a serious and dedicated provider of compact and mid-range tractors, mowers and ancillary equipment to turf and grounds care professionals, estate owners and top-end residential users throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Owned and run by the Bellamy family since 1987, Fentons of Bourne was founded in 1862 as blacksmiths and agricultural engineers but moved away from the farming industry in 2001 to concentrate on the turf and grounds care sector. The firm also has a separate division supplying light commercial vehicles to local authorities, landscapers, the hire trade, turf growers and haulage companies in Lincolnshire and neighbouring counties.

"The two parts of the company sit very comfortably alongside each other," commented managing director, Glen Bellamy. "Many customers who purchase commercial vehicles from us have a need also for tractors and associated grounds care equipment. We are able to meet all of their sales, service and parts needs from beneath one roof and this position has been enhanced by the addition of the Massey Ferguson grounds care range to our portfolio."

Massey Ferguson grounds care products for professional users available from Fentons of Bourne include sub-compact, compact and mid-range tractors from 19.5hp to 91hp, ride-on mid rotary mowers and the MF 20 MD 4 x 4 utility vehicle.

Massey Ferguson's residential machinery line-up includes a walk-behind mower and tiller, nine ride-on mid mowers, a zero-turn rider mower and a garden tractor.
