Our Online Training courses on Sports Turf Maintenance can be studied anywhere, anytime - so long as you have access to a computer.

The courses are presented by Industry guru Alan Lewis. Alan has an MSc in Sports Surface Technology and 30 years' practical experience as a groundsman, consultant and mentor, so he has a wealth of knowledge and experience which he conveys in a clear and friendly manner.

Each course comprises a series of videos which demonstrate and explain the various processes required to create and maintain a quality playing surface. Each video is followed by a set of questions, which must be correctly answered before the learner can progress to the next video. On completion of the final questionnaire, the learner may apply for Lantra certification.

Each course is accompanied by a comprehensive, full colour manual (circa 100 pages) which further explains and illustrates the learning. The manual contains images, line drawings, Health and Safety information and working diaries, so it remains a valuable source of reference back in the workplace.
