Leading education and training college, Myerscough, has announced an educational partnership with website magazine, Pitchcare. The Lancashire based College is recognised in the UK and abroad as being one of the foremost educational establishments for land-based and sportsturf qualifications.
The partnership with Pitchcare is seen as a significant commitment by the college to strengthen and develop its reputation and services in the sportsturf market on a national and international basis, with growth in the College's national work based learning programmes and online degree courses viewed as key priorities.
Peter Caney, Assistant Principal of Skills & Development at Myerscough College commented, "We are very excited about working in partnership with Pitchcare as we seek to build and enhance our reputation for delivering excellence within the sportsturf sector, both nationally and internationally. Pitchcare is the ideal partner to support the College in delivering this vision, and we very much look forward to working collaboratively in serving the training needs of the sector."
Pitchcare Operations Director, John Richards, commented, "We are delighted that Myerscough has chosen to work in partnership with us. Quite rightly, it is regarded as being one of the foremost sports turf education colleges in the world. Some of their students and former students are found in many of the top international sporting venues. With this partnership, we intend to help Myerscough bring the benefits of training and further education, and the increased opportunities that arise as a result, to a far wider audience."
