Pitchcare in association with the GTC assist Head Groundsmen/woman with recording staffs Health & Safety issues.

The offer of a free highly acclaimed wall chart from the GTC has been taken up by those responsible for stadia/grounds management.

David Golding the GTC's Education Director has told Dave Saltman of Pitchcare.com that it has been an example of just how close Grounds people and Golf Course Managers work together in areas such as Health & Safety and he hopes that much of the work on turf education, training and qualifications will also benefit all areas of sportsturf not just golf courses.

Dave Saltman added "there is much to admire about the work of the GTC in recent years especially in the area of establishing a structure of qualified work-based trainers and assessors across the UK's golf courses and we at Pitchcare welcome any initiatives which will assist Groundsmen/women in their quest for professional recognition".
