0 Police investigate golf club break-in

Police are investigating the theft of £3,000-worth of equipment at a North-East golf club.

Thieves broke into Blackwell Grange Golf Club, in Darlington, between 2.50pm on Monday (December 17) and 7.20am the next day.

A 50-litre compressor, a SIP generator with dual electrics, a Stihl pressure washer and other smaller items were stolen from the greenkeeper's shed at the club.

Anyone with information about the burglary, or the whereabouts of the equipment, is asked to call PC Helen Hudson on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.
