Pro 51X Pedestrian Rotary-the Professional's choice
In time for the 2009 cutting season, Etesia is launching the PRO51X - a rugged professional 51cm pedestrian rotary designed to withstand the rigours of commercial use.
Plenty of power is essential for any rotary mower to give top performance. With this in the forefront of their minds, Etesia has chosen an engine from Honda's professional range to power the PRO51X - the GXV160. This commercial grade air-cooled OHV unit produces ample power to deal with the toughest of grass, yet still has some in reserve. The machine is self-propelled and has variable forward speed allowing the operator to adjust the mower's travel to suit prevailing conditions.
Ergonomically designed for ease-of-use, this new rotary is highly manoeuvrable. Unique single-shaft handlebar design ensures that the user's hands are protected from scraping against walls, and other obstacles. For operator comfort, the handlebars are fully adjustable - they also fold for storage or transportation between sites. All cables are encased in a unique protective rubber sheath to prevent snagging on low branches.
Pro 51X will cope with a wide variety of grass conditions and produces a quality finish every time. Beneath the aerodynamically designed anti-clog cutting deck, a specially profiled blade lifts the grass before cutting it. Ejection of the clippings is aided by the vacuum created from the mower deck - thus minimizing the risk of blockages.
When working in tough ground conditions, hidden objects are often an unavoidable hazard - engine crankshaft protection prevents damage to the power source in the event of the mower coming into contact with an obstacle. A rubber "bumper" fitted to the front of the heavy-duty aluminium deck provides protection to the casting.
Central single-lever cutting height adjustment provides a range of settings to suit most applications.
Pro51X has an EC compliant blade brake and clutch which enables the blade to be disengaged when travelling between sites. Options include a 72 litre grass collector with "full" indicator and a side deflector. In commercial use, Pro51X carries a twelve month warranty.
